Meet our Team
Harvey has a long history in the York / Simcoe Region having met his wife, Gail on the job and eventually marrying, they have lived in the area for most of their lives. Over the years they have enjoyed raising a family in a wonderful small-town atmosphere, volunteering in as many of their children`s activities as possible.
Harvey has over 20 years of experience in engineering and project management with Magna International and has operated a premium home healthcare agency in the York / South Simcoe Region since 2011. His passion for building lasting relationships and helping others allows him to be an active member of the local healthcare community.
Harvey has always been a strong believer in taking a holistic approach to client care and in 2018 opened Memories+ Adult Program and Wellness Centre, giving older adults further options in their overall care choices.
Harvey also understands that the strength of any organization is in its employees, and is proud to be able to offer the widest range of services provided by the best possible people for the job.
Director of Care
Anna is a nurse with over nineteen years of experience, much of which have been working with older adults in the community. Her strong gerontology background, working closely with clients living with cognitive and physical challenges has led to her passion of providing supportive care and resources to clients and their loved ones in the community.
Anna obtains national recognition as a Certified Gerontological Nurse through the Canadian Nurses Association and is an active member of the Gerontological Nursing Association of Ontario and the Canadian Gerontological Nursing Association. Currently Anna holds the Co- Chair position for the Prevention of Elder Abuse Committee of York Region. Her commitment to life long learning is demonstrated as she strives to keep current and provide educational opportunities in the community.
Olivia is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist and holds an Honours Bachelor of Therapeutic Recreation, Diploma in Social Service Work and a Certificate in Adult Education and Training. Having worked with seniors in long term care, retirement, hospitals, day programs and community settings, she strives to bring together the strengths from each industry.
Olivia has a strong passion for recreation and sees a great importance in offering therapeutic and meaningful activities that enhance overall wellness and quality of life. She believes in celebrating everyone’s abilities and enjoying the small things in life. Olivia has a passion for art and enjoys drawing, painting and crafting. She is excited to share her skills with the day program members and facilitate fun and inclusive art sessions.
Personal Support Worker
Pam is our personal support worker and program assistant. Pam has been a personal support worker for 19 years and is an extremely friendly and energetic person. She has both her Palliative Care Certificate and Smart Fitness Certificate, as well as a big passion for arts and crafts. She has a love for working with seniors and gets great joy from supporting them. She enjoys listening to their stories of triumph and tribulation of their interesting lives over a cup of tea. Pam grew up in Newmarket and has already recognized a few of our members and their families. Pam is a mother to two young adults, 4 fur babies and a rabbit.
